Working Dogs for Conservation is the world’s leading conservation detection dog organization.
We combine expert canine data collection with cutting-edge laboratory techniques to help answer some of the most pressing questions in conservation.
Four conservation professionals—Megan Parker, Aimee Hurt, Deborah Woollett, and Alice Whitelaw—co-founded WD4C in the mid-‘90s and in 2007 WD4C was granted 501(c)(3) non-profit status.
First and foremost, we put dogs to work to save wildlife and wild places. Throughout our history, we have worked in over 20 countries and virtually every major habitat on earth.
