More Ways to Give
Support WD4C in a way that works for you.
GIVE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY
Supporting WD4C is about more than just money! You help support our mission by being a responsible dog owner, respecting wildlife, supporting local shelters, and making green lifestyle choices.
If you’d like to directly help out by volunteering your time, keep an eye on our social media channels. We organize dog poop pickup days in Missoula and will be expanding opportunities in the future. We are also always accepting donations of field gear for humans and dogs - contact Breanne@wd4c.org to see what our current needs are.
And of course, be sure to tell your loved ones about the work we do!
GIVE BY CHECK
Make checks payable to Working Dogs for Conservation Foundation and mail them to the address below. Please include your address so we can mail your receipt.

PLANNED GIVING
Thank you for your interest in learning about creative ways to support Working Dogs for Conservation (WD4C). Planned gifts are a great way to leave assets to WD4C that provide current and future benefits for both WD4C and you.
Following is an example of language you can use:
“To Working Dogs for Conservation, a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in the state of Montana in 2000, having as its principal address 10971 Rustic Road, Missoula MT 59802, and tax identification number EIN: 20-2708654, I, [name], of [city, state ZIP] hereby give and bequeath the sum of $______ or _____percent of my estate to be used as determined by WD4C for the general purposes of WD4C.”
Your entire retirement account;
A set dollar amount;
A percentage of your total retirement funds;
An amount contingent on other conditions being met, such as having a loved one predecease you.
Consult your financial advisor or your employer’s human resource department to get the simple form to designate WD4C (tax identification number EIN: 20-2708654) as a beneficiary of your retirement account.
Let Us Know Your Plans
If you have included WD4C in your estate plans, please let us know by calling or emailing us. Thank you for your generous commitment to WD4C.
If you’re 70½ or older and have an IRA, you likely know that you are required to transfer a percentage of your IRA each year (the “Required Minimum Distribution” or RMD). Did you know that you can turn your RMD into a charitable gift by transferring it directly to Working Dogs for Conservation? That way, it will not be taxed and will qualify toward your required minimum distribution. This is a win for you as well as for the wildlife and wild places our dogs help to protect. Simply contact your IRA administrator to request that a charitable distribution be transferred to Working Dogs for Conservation. [WD4C’s tax ID is 20-2708654, and our mailing address is WD4C, Box 280 Bozeman, MT, 59715]
Inform us of the designation of your gift by contacting Pete Coppolillo, Executive Director at +1 406-290-9453 or Pete@WD4C.org, and Skye Plumb, Director of Operations, +1 406-924-9342 or Skye@WD4C.org
We are grateful for your support of our important work!
