Samurai started his life as pet until fate brought him into the world of biosecurity where he found his calling as a rodent detection dog. He is distinguished, independent and always exudes confidence. His energy supply rarely depletes and he often finds his way into mischief when not working. He is often referred to as foxy in his looks and cat-like with his behaviors. Samurai’s most valued things in life are chasing and batting toys with his paws. Being a smaller dog has its advantages when maneuvering in and out of small spaces aboard vessels. When working he is focused and keen to carry out his mission.
